Terms of Service

Last updated: June 22, 2026

These terms are provided for transparency and are not legal advice. Before relying on them publicly, have them reviewed by a Mississippi-licensed attorney to confirm they fit Kanonu Solutions LLC's specific arrangements.

1. Agreement

By using the Kanonu Events platform ("the service"), operated by Kanonu Solutions LLC ("Kanonu"), you agree to these terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so.

2. The service

Kanonu provides software that lets organizers sell registrations and tickets, accept payments, issue digital passes, check guests in, and view reporting. Kanonu provides the technology; the organizer is responsible for the event itself.

3. Organizer responsibilities

4. Fees

Kanonu charges a service fee of 3% + $0.99 per registration. This fee, together with payment-processing fees, is added at checkout and paid by the attendee, so the organizer keeps 100% of its stated ticket or registration price. Fees may change with notice; the rate in effect at the time of a sale applies to that sale.

5. Payments and payouts

Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms. Funds settle to the organizer's connected account on Stripe's standard payout schedule. Kanonu does not take custody of attendee funds beyond what is required to operate the transaction, and does not store card data.

6. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds, exchanges, and event cancellations are the responsibility of the organizer and are governed by the organizer's stated policy. Kanonu can provide tools to assist but is not the merchant of record for the event.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to bypass server-side pricing, holds, or admission controls, interfere with its security, or use it for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Kanonu does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kanonu's total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the service fees Kanonu received for the affected event. Kanonu is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
